Helping you move from surviving to thriving - and
LIVE THE LIFE YOU DESERVE.
Clinical Supervision
Clinical Supervision for LCMHC-A’s and LCAS-A’s across North Carolina
One supervisor. Both licenses. just steady support while you earn your hours.
CLINICAL SUPERVISION THAT COVERS YOUR WHOLE LICENSE
If you are working toward your LCMHC, your LCAS, or both, you already know how complicated supervision
can get. Many dual-track associates have to find two different supervisors, keep two schedules, and explain
their cases twice.
At KBR Counseling and Services, you do not have to. KaiRashia Boyce Rasberry is both a Qualified
Supervisor (QS) for mental health counseling and a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) for addiction
counseling. That means one supervisor who understands your mental health cases and your substance use
cases - and how often they are the same case.
KBR is a NO JUDGEMENT ZONE, and supervision here works the same way. Bring the case you are proud
of and the case that kept you up last night. Both are welcome. Supervision is where you grow into the
counselor you want to be, and our job is to help you LIVE THE LIFE YOU DESERVE while you do it.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Start with a free fit call. We talk about your license track, your work setting, your caseload, and what you
need from supervision. If KBR is not the right fit, we will tell you honestly.
2. Sign a supervision agreement. We put expectations, schedules, fees, and documentation in writing
before you count a single hour, so there are no surprises later.
3. Meet on a steady rhythm. Individual, triadic, or group sessions on a regular schedule, with case review,
skill-building, ethics, documentation support, and honest feedback.
4. Track your hours with confidence. We document supervision as we go, so your records are ready when
your board asks for them.
NORTH CAROLINA REQUIREMENTS - AT A GLANCE
North Carolina LCMHC licensure requires 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience, including 100
hours of clinical supervision. Of those 100 supervision hours, at least 75 must be individual or triadic
supervision, and up to 25 may be group supervision. LCAS licensure through the North Carolina
Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board carries its own supervised experience and CCS supervision
requirements. In your fit call, we will map your supervision plan to the requirements for your specific track -
and if you are on both tracks, we will map them together.
